I don't need Dropbox anymore

Some time ago it was a cool free software to backup and synchronize your data. But a lot has happened after that: files grew in size, disks of virtual servers also grew, hardware connectivity improved. In contrast to that Dropbox became worse at versioning of your files. And Amazon whose storage Dropbox uses started to seem more evil.

In the end I realized that my backups are already automated, synchronization is straightforward, and Dropbox's scanning annoys me much more often than it happens to be useful. So I uninstalled it. Now I will mark this post to come back to it if I lose my data in the future.
